What to Expect During Nanoknife Treatments
This procedure generally lasts from 2 to 4 hours, and you will leave the hospital the same day. You will go under general anesthesia, and the tumor will be surrounded by thin electrodes placed by the physician doing the treatment. Up to six electrodes will be used to surround the tumor, and then electrical pulses will go between the electrodes. This causes tiny holes in the tumor, and the cancer cells become unstable.
